    • Mrs Neva M Rodgers, 84, of Lakeshore Manor Nursing Center died at 10:35 pm Sunday in the nursing home.

      Funeral services will be at 10 am Wednesday in Monson Memorial Chapel where friends may call from 6 to 9 pm today. Burial well be in Fairlawn Cemetery.

      Mrs Rodgers was born Aug 8, 1885 in Decatur, a daughter of James L and Mary Jane Smith Slay. She was a member of First Christian Church. She was married to Gaylor C Rodgers in Springfield October 25, 1907. He died in 1933.

      She leaves sons, Clifford Rodgers of Chicago and Bruce E Smith of Decatur; sister Mrs Otie (Laura) Slayton of Decatur; a granddaughter and a great-grandchild. Seven sisters and two brothers preceded in death.
